General
Meeting: First Sunday of the month (unless the date
falls on a holiday weekend). The General meeting is from 1 PM
- 4 PM.
Board
Meeting:
The Board Meeting follows the General Meeting and is from 4 PM
- 5 PM.
Saturday
Stitchers: Saturday
Stitchers is a day that we gather at one of the members homes
to stitch, eat, and get to know each other better. This is always
a special day of fun and relaxation. It is held on the 4th Saturday
of the month (unless the date falls on a holiday weekend). We
do not meet in November and December.
Needlework
Exhibit: Every other year we have
a needlework exhibit in conjunction with the Fleur de Lis EGA
chapter. This year the exhibit will be held on June 3rd
and 4th, 2006, at Mary Josita Hall at Clarke College in Dubuque,
Iowa. The exhibit runs from 10 AM - 5 PM. |

PAST EVENTS
Learn
to Live: Senior Fest: NICC is hosting this event
for seniors in the Dubuque, IA area. The Mississippi River Sampler
Guild will have a table at the Senior Fest to meet visitors and
talk about our guild. Stop by our table on May 12, 2006,
at NICC on the Peosta, IA campus, from 8 AM - 2 PM. We
will have newsletters and business cards, and will be stitching
all day.
Spring
& Fall Three-Day Retreats:
Each year we have two retreats
for members that run from Friday afternoon at 2 PM until Sunday
afternoon at 4 PM.
This is a great experience,
and we would not miss this for the world. The dates of the next
upcoming retreats are:
